Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving! I hope that you've stocked up on plenty of craft beer so you can fully take advantage of the holiday. For once, I have the whole long weekend off and I'm not sure what to do with the free time (drink beer, eat, sleep?). My weekend did have a great start though! On Friday, right after work, I bummed a ride with Kathy (Kathy Eats Canada) and ate my way through the last session of First Fridays. When we were full of delicious, delicious food truck (or as the French say, Camions du Cuisine) nibbles we went for a quick pint at Dieu du Ciel! before returning home to Ottawa. Now the rest of the weekend has to live up to that.
Anyway, this past week I did the usual three blog posts and two of them were Beau's Oktoberfest related (can you tell I really enjoyed it?).
- The Dunk Tank O'Beer - The Beau's crew gets dunked in beer to raise money for the Unshaven Mavens.
- Beau's Oktoberfest 2012 - My recap of the weekend of awesome.
- Smuttynose Pumpkin Ale and Bear World - A (sort of) pumpkin beer review and a tip about a great bottle store in Watertown, NY.
