Shortly after this photo was taken I took a fork to the poached egg and let the yolk ooze everywhere. It was all sorts of awesome.
It's the end of 2012 and I've been busy thinking about the future. I don't necessarily believe in New Year's Resolutions but I like setting goals and putting myself on a path to achieve as many as I possibly can. One of those goals is to spend more time with friends sharing gossip over delicious plates of food like this salmon cake with poached egg and hollandaise sauce from Benny's Bistro. Another one of my goals is to not leave the bistro, which shares a building with The French Baker, with a sack or two of pastries.
