What did you do to deserve this onslaught of Thai-inspired food mash ups? Well, you're probably following one or more of the Thai Kitchen Lucky 7 Celebrity Food Bloggers who are participating in a recipe challenge.

Starting today, January 31st, in return for your vote, lucky reader, have a chance to win a $1500 Air Canada Gift Card, a $1000 Apple Gift Card or a Jamie Oliver Professional Series Cookware Set valued at $1000!
Not bad for a few moments of your time, right?
With such great food talent in Ottawa it's a given that we'd have one of our own food bloggers competing against others from Halifax-to-Vancouver and that blogger is Don from foodiePrints. I asked Don what it was like working with the Thai Kitchen products for the Daily Recipe Challenge (which looked like a lot of hard work!) and he said:
It has been quite the experience working with Thai Kitchen products. Before, I only ever looked at jars of the curry paste, noting the lack of preservatives or chemicals. Now, I have to say the chili sauces are actually interesting and make good aiolis for pairing with food. My wife and I actually keep boxes of the dried rice noodles in the pantry. We honestly prefer the Thai Kitchen brand of dried rice noodle to others.
Now stop drooling at those photos and get voting! Although I know those Kung Pao Scotch Eggs do look amazing..
